Our history

An ancient story involving a noble English family who transferred to the south of Italy, in the 18th century, to the then called “Kingdom of Two Sicilies” and subsequently to Calabria.

Sir John Acton, the head of the Italian side of the family, transferred to Naples when requested by King Ferdinand the IV to reorganize the Bourbon Kingdom’s naval division, where he subsequently acted as a close adviser to the King.
